White Rock Moon Festival is a free, family-friendly event that welcomes people of all ages and cultures to share in an uplifting creative cultural celebration.
The two -day festival begins with young musicians showcasing their jazz talents and welcomes to meet up jazz jam lovers. The Opening Ceremony features a live and high profile orchestra concert in the evening on Sept 13, 2019, followed by a full presentation of brass fanfare, group drum performance, chorus singing and dance. The Multicultural Day on Sept 14, 2019 boasts a lineup of dance and musical performances by community groups. This year’s event will also feature a presentation from our guest Warrior Monks Martial art performers from China’s renown Shaolin Temple. The spectacular fireworks will light up the night sky to end the White Rock Moon Festival. Explore the festival that features with outdoor lantern installations, an illuminated festival decorations on the pier and in the park. Enjoy lantern making for children and sampling of moon cakes and delicious food from the event food and business vendors throughout the park.
