Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 12th and of course you want to treat your Mom! You can say thank you in lots of ways, from flowers, to chocolates or even a tasty lunch out at one of White Rock’s restaurants, which we definitely recommend. But really, Mom just wants to spend quality time with you. Head to the Farmers Market
Maybe your Mom is more the picnic-type? Stop by the White Rock Farmer’s Market for a fun morning choosing from fresh produce, pastries and other unique food items, and then head to a park or the beach for the perfect Mother’s Day picnic.

Get out on the water
If Mom is a little, or a lot, outdoorsy, she’ll love to go on a whale watching tour, or for a boat tour around Semiahmoo Bay, with White Rock Sea Tours. Or maybe a relaxing day at the beach with her favourite people is the way to go. The forecast this Mother’s Day is calling for perfect beach-weather.

White Rock is home to the charming White Rock Museum & Archives. The museum is located in a historic train station on the waterfront and is a wonderful way to spend a little time learning about our community’s history and railway roots. The current exhibit is a fascinating look at how White Rock has celebrated May Day.
