SUMMARY:White Rock City Orchestra Family Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join the White Rock City Orchestra for their Spring family concert which will include fun and toe-tapping music for all ages to enjoy! The City Orchestra will perform many family favourites including Pirates of the Caribbean\, Radestky March\, excerpts from Saint Saens ‘Carnival of the Animals’\, plus many more. We have a delightful mini section in our program showcasing special guest violin solo artists Amilia Lai\, Kara Sun\, and Bellamy Cao\, who will perform Küchler’s Concertino\, Perlman’s Concertino -Fantasy Recitative\,   and Borowski’s Adoration specially orchestrated and arranged for the evening.  Vancouver’s very own  Soprano Karen Anderson will offer us a special treat with the ‘Dolls Aria’ from the Tales Of Hoffman\, and Luna Li (pictured above) will perform ‘Spring’ from Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons Concerto. A wonderful musical family outing\, with music for all ages and a special family ticket price if you bring the whole gang!
