SUMMARY:Festival of Lights: Diwali Integration
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday October 7\, Festival of Lights: Diwali Integration returns to White Rock. \nThe Festival will take place at the Semiahmoo Park\, Semiahmoo First Nation between noon and 10:00pm with live music and performances\, vendors\, food trucks\, face painting for the children and Fireworks display at 8:30pm. Admission is free and all activities are family-friendly. \nOpening Ceremonies will begin at 12:00 noon on the the Main Stage (located at Semiahmoo Park 15782 Marine Drive\, White Rock) \nThe International Community Celebrations Society of BC\, a non-profit organization that promotes the diversity of Canadian Multi-Culturism\, has partnered with the City of White Rock to bring international communities together in a show of solidarity. \nParking and Transit:\nParking is free at the Semiahmoo First Nation parking lot (located behind the Washington Avenue Grill at 15782 Marine Drive). \nThis event is part of the White Rock Fall Festival of Arts. \nCheck out all the online event listings for September and October or download the Fall Festival Event Listing!
