DESCRIPTION:Canada’s ‘voice like chocolate’\, Melanie Dekker\, hails from Deep Cove\, N. Vancouver.  Her dutch background handed her an easy-going and sassy style\, and her country roots melded with her jazz music education to create somewhat of a roots-pop sensation. Dekker tours a shedload\, especially in Northern Europe\, and her songs weave between emotion and sensibilities as they tug on your heart and leave you smiling. \nHer high energy band “DEKKER” needs almost no introduction. They are all B.C boys who eat & breath music. Co-writer & producer Allan Rodger is on bass\, he has played over 200 shows with Melanie and loves to ride his bike or steer a ship.  Pat Steward  who is like a brother to Allan\, is on drums\, and he has performed world-wide and in class with Bryan Adams\, Colin James and then some. Eric Reed\, on guitar\, has known Melanie since kindergarten and lives his life on stage\, in his studio\, or on his telemark skis. \nDOORS 6:00 PM  •  SHOW 7:00 PM
