Celebrating Pride Week in White Rock!
White Rock is more than just beautiful sunsets and trips to the beach (though we love those too!)- we’re a community that celebrates inclusion, diversity, and the simple fact that Love is Love.
From July 18th-25th, celebrate White Rock Pride Week here in our City by the Sea!
Organized by the White Rock Pride Society, there are events and celebrations happening all over town this coming week- check it out:
All week: Decorating Contest
Keep an eye out all week long as you go about town- the White Rock Pride Society is hosting a decorating content for businesses with prizes going out to the best three displays.
July 17th: Simply Queen Concert
Kicking off the night before Pride Week officially starts, enjoy a FREE outdoor concert featuring Simply Queen- a part of the Concerts at the Pier, Presented by TD Ready Commitment.

July 18th: Pride Flag Raising
The official start of Pride Week will be on Friday with the Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at White Rock Hall!
Stick around after for the community-favourite Pride Ride, a lively procession heading through town to the after party at Centennial Arena.
July 19th: Pride Family Day
Held at Miramar Village Plaza from 11AM to 4PM, this family-friendly street party features live music, local vendors, carnival games, face painting, and more.
Bring the kids, your friends, or your chosen family for a fun day in the sun!
July 21st: White Rock BIA Pride Mingler
Taking place at White Rock Beach Beer from 6:00pm-8:00pm, this laid-back party brings together community members, business owners, and supporters over locally brewed craft beer.
The first 50 attendees get a free beer, courtesy of the White Rock BIA.
July 25th: ‘Love is Love’ Gala
Rounding out a festive week is the iconic Love is Love Gala.
This year’s event will be complete with dazzling drag performances, auctions, 50/50 raffle, and more. This year’s theme: The Wizard of Oz: Now & Then!
