The building that houses The Ocean Beach has a long and storied history in White Rock. Originally called the Feedham Block when it was built in 1930, the building was home to the Blue Moon Dance pavilion in the 1930s and early 1940s. Since then it has been a hub of the White Rock social scene in its many reincarnations and with its recent re-opening, as The Ocean Beach, looks poised to raise the bar as a must-try spot to dine and socialize in White Rock.

From their expansive patio, The Ocean Beach boasts an epic view of Memorial Park, the White Rock Pier and Semiahmoo Bay … perfect on a sunny day, and if you time your visit right, you’ll catch a spectacular White Rock sunset. The menu is full of unique, and delicious, share plates and mains, and expertly crafted cocktails, and everything is made in house in their “scratch kitchen”. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose, but the parmesan-crusted cauliflower (trust us, even if you think you don’t like cauliflower) paired with an Aperol Spritz is perfect to start, and then choose from a mouthwatering list of burgers and mains, like the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle highlighting gorgeous BC mushrooms!  And be sure to check out the OB Happy Hour, every day from 3 – 6 pm and from 9 pm to close Sunday to Thursday.
