Get ready for a three-day laugh riot as the inaugural South Rock Comedy Festival takes centre stage in White Rock and South Surrey, from September 19 to 21. This exciting new event is set to bring together comedy lovers and top-tier talent from across North America. With over 50 comedians, the festival promises a jam-packed lineup of laughs, spread across 11 shows in six unique venues.

Festival-goers can look forward to performances by some of the most recognizable names in comedy today. Among the headliners are Vancouver’s Graham Clark, known for his appearances at Just For Laughs Montreal, and Charlie Demers, a favourite on CBC’s Debaters. Also taking the stage are Calgary’s Dave Nystrom, who has graced HBO with his wit, and Seattle’s Kermet Apio, celebrated for his Dry Bar Comedy specials. The festival also boasts new additions like Vancouver’s Jane Stanton, whose comedic talents have shone at festivals across the nation and on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, and Justin Nichol, who will lead the brand-new PNW LOL Showdown competition show. Local talent will also get their time in the spotlight, with White Rock’s own Ryan Lachance and Vancouver’s Niki Mohrdar co-headlining at Leon’s Cafe, one of the festival’s newly added venues.

The South Rock Comedy Festival is committed to making world-class comedy accessible to everyone. To that end, they have introduced a range of multi-show pass options that offer great value for money. Attendees can choose from the Full 5-Show Festival Pass, which includes five shows for just $80, or the 3-Show Festival Pass at $55, allowing fans to customize their festival experience. For those looking to immerse themselves in a day of laughter, Day Passes for Friday or Saturday are available for $38.
