Pride & Prejudice
White Rock Players Club | 1532 Johnston Road
February 15 – March 3, 2024

Adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill and based on the beloved novel by Jane Austen, this playful adaptation of Pride & Prejudice gives the story we know and love an unconventional update. In Regency England, love is a serious game, and the Bennet sisters are playing for keeps. But when marriage is a must for women, how will they be able to tell if they’ve won? This clever comedy offers a decidedly progressive take on the trials of Lizzy, Mr. Darcy, and the whole Bennet clan, with a few dance breaks thrown in for good measure.

Hurry Hard by Kristen Da Silva
Peninsula Productions Theatre | 14600 North Bluff Road
January 25 – 28, 2024

When Bill and Sandy’s marriage split up, so did their curling team – splintering off into a men’s team and a women’s team who begrudgingly share the ice at the Stayner Curling Club. Now, a medical emergency has left the men’s team short a player on the day of the big Regional Bonspiel. If they have any hope of beating neighbouring Meaford and taking the trophy for Stayner, they’ll have to put aside their differences and unite as one team.  Directed by Robert Moloney.
