Craft Brewing Comedy Nights
White Rock’s craft breweries invite you to a night of big laughs, tasty craft beer and good eats!

Galaxie Craft Brewhouse (1122 Vidal Street) will be hosting comedians Simon King, Amber Harper-Young and host Alex Mackenzie on Friday, January 21 for an evening of gut-busting comedy. Tickets are $20 and selling fast.

Comedy nights are back at 3 Dogs Brewing (1515 Johnston Road) with Turnkey Comedy presenting 3 Dogs Comedy night on January 23. Laugh at, or along with, local comedians Simon King, Alex Mackenzie, Tania Taylor and Ray Morrison.

White Rock’s mid-century and older “cottage houses” have largely disappeared as the march of time leads to their replacement. This White Rock Museum exhibit brings together a diverse group of local artists to capture those that remain to celebrate their charm and humble persistence in our community. The gallery re-opens on January 18 and is open Tuesday – Sunday, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.

See his struggles, feel his pain as he learns some difficult life lessons. Based on Mark Haddon’s best-selling 2003 novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a thrilling and heartwarming adventure story featuring an unforgettable young hero.

Treat yourself to a beautiful evening of Poetry and Piano with Dominik Heins and Michelle Porter.  Dominik Heins is an exceptionally talented piano player and vocalist specializing in jazz, Boogie Woogie and swing styles. His solo performances captivate audiences with his exuberant improvising, a deep rhythmic groove, and his uniquely hard-swinging vocal style. Michelle Porter is an accomplished theatre actor and the voice of Kyclia in the animated series First Gundam. She writes poetry and recently had two of her poems published. She will be reading the poetry for this production.
