2021 Maple Blues Award Nominee for Harmonica Player, Harpdog Brown has grown a reputation as a real-deal purveyor of classic electric blues. Think of the old Chess Records and Sun Records of the late ’40s and early ‘50s. Harpdog has won four Maple Blues Awards for Harmonica Player of the Year (2014/2015/2016/2019) along with countless nominations including Male Vocalist and Album of the Year.
The “Dog” assembled a wicked seven-piece band just for this special 2019 concert and you’re in for a treat! In addition to Harpdog Brown on vocals, harmonicas are Dave Webb – keys, Rick Jacobson – drums, Pat Darcus – bass, Skye Lambourne – trombone, Jerry Cook – baritone & tenor sax, Riley Bartlett – trumpet.
