Weather Watching is a project by visual artist Erica Grimm in collaboration with acclaimed sound artist Sheinagh Anderson and artist/arborist Tracie Stewart.

The installation and experimental soundscape draws analogies between human bodies and the global oceanic body of water. We are metaphorically skin boats sustained by, and inseparable from, a changing global ocean. This exhibition calls attention to the life-sustaining connections between the precariously balanced chemistry of the ocean and the human body.

This exhibition runs concurrently as a satellite exhibition to Salt Water and Skin Boats at The Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford. We encourage you to take in both shows.

The exhibit runs daily from February 9 to March 18.

Engage with the timely exhibition at our reception on Friday March 9 at 7pm. For more information and your free tickets, click here.
